The Greenwood Police Department was honored by Special Olympics of Arkansas as one of the top fundraising department in the State of Arkansas. Special Olympics of Arkansas divided all participating law enforcement agencies by size and created three divisions which are listed as small, medium, and large. The Greenwood Police Department was honored as the top fundraising department in the small department division. This was the fifth year of involvement in the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics and receiving such an honor validates the hard work and effort put forward by Greenwood Police Officers in assisting Special Olympics of Arkansas.
