Lieutenant Nicholas Driscoll

Nicholas Driscoll was promoted to lieutenant in February 2010.  He serves as the Investigations Commander and works all major cases. Lt. Driscoll also has the responsibility of overseeing the School Resource Officer Program and the Bike Unit. He organizes all Public Safety Events representing the police department, serves as Event Coordinator for National Night Out in August of each year and is a certified Accident Re-constructionist. Lt. Driscoll holds certifications in Truth Verification, Crime Scene Processing and is a Law Enforcement Taser Instructor. Lt. Driscoll previously served as a member of the US Marshals Fugitive Task Force.
Nicholas was selected as Officer of the Year by his peers for 2008.
Sergeant Mark Mergen

Sgt. Mergen was promoted to Sergeant in 2005 and serves as a supervisor in the school resource officer program. During his previous duties, he served as a patrol shift supervisor, was  assigned as a K-9 handler and teamed with K-9 Bruno.  Sgt. Mergen is also actively involved in Special Olympics Arkansas, and was recognized for his work in the community in 2009. Sgt. Mergen also holds a law enforcement instructor certification as well a law enforcement firearms instructor certification.  
Detective Corporal Timothy Heffner

Timothy Heffner was promoted to Corporal in February of 2010.  He's been with the department since April 2005. He is currently assigned to the Investigations Division as a Detective. Cpl. Heffner is also a member of the department's Bike Unit, and is a certified cell phone forensic examiner. Cpl. Heffner previously  served on the US Marshals Fugitive Task Force for over two years.  Corporal Heffner was selected by his peers as the 2009 Officer of the Year.
Investigator Corporal David Stewart

Inv. Stewart joined the Greenwood Police Department in July of 2007. Prior to his joining the department, Inv. Stewart was employed with the Tennessee Department of Community Corrections for over ten years.  He has previously served as a member of the Sebastian County SWAT team and is currently assigned to the Investigations Division as a School Resource Officer. Inv. Stewart is a Law Enforcement Taser Instructor and is fluent in Spanish. Inv. Stewart was promoted to Corporal in July 2011.
