The Police Department supports one canine team (K-9), with Officer Brad Hobbs and K-9 Remy making up the team. Lt. Dawson will be assisting with the K-9 team, and is an active member of the Road Warrior Interdiction Network. Remy will be cross-trained for patrol work and narcotics detection. The team works varied shifts and is often called to assist other members of the department during their tour of duty. The team also answers patrol calls for service when not being utilized for K-9 functions.
