The Greenwood Police Department is always seeking motivated career minded individuals with a desire to make a difference in the community. The Department offers a competitive salary, benefits package, and retirement benefits through the Arkansas Local Police and Fire Retirement System (LOPFI).

The Greenwood Police Department offers multiple career paths including Patrol, Criminal Investigation, School Resource Officer, K-9, Bicycle Patrol, & Drug Task Force. The possibilities are only limited by your dedication and commitment.

Applicants must possess a high school diploma or GED and be at least 21 years of age. They should be of good character and free of any convictions for a felony offense or offense involving domestic violence. A thorough background investigation will be conducted to determine an applicant’s fitness for duty with the Greenwood Police Department.
